About Flextrash
What is Flextrash?

Flextrash is a sustainable, flexible trash bin that you can travel with. A trash bin with a coverbag that you can easily hang anywhere with our clips made for a variety of situations. Like in the car, on the boat or for instance during your camp trip. In this way you always have a bin nearby!

The coverbag is made from recycled PET and designed by Dutch top designer Basten Leijh. When buying a Flextrash follow 2 simple steps: 1. Choose your bin; which size do you need? 3L, 5L or 9L (and don't forget your favorite color!) 2. Choose your clip; where would you like to use Flextrash? Please note that you always order a clip, if you don't have one already.

How do I attach Flextrash to the object of choice?

Flextrash is the trash bin that travels with you! With a variety of clips you can attach Flextrash in many places. Here is a brief overview:

Flip clip: To install Flextrash behind your drivers seat, on the metal headrest rods.

Table clip: Click it onto your desk or table.

Tube clip: Attach with to different sizes of tubes. Perfect for your boat or tent pole.

Seat clips: Click it on the metal headrest bars of your car.

Dashclip: Can be fixed in the dashboard of your car.

Vacuclip: Adheres to a smooth surface, like tiles, glass or steel.

Wall mount: Can be attached to your wall with 3M tape or screws.

Campstick: Simply stick this stick in the ground. Ideal for camping or to take with you to the beach.

Treehugger: Attach your Flextrash to any tree or branch with the Treehugger.

Closed Seat clip: Does your car have no headrest bars? Then try our Closed Seat clip.

What are the measurements of Flextrash?

We currently selling the Flextrash Small (3liter), the Flextrash Medium (5liter) and the Flextrash Large (9liter).

The dimensions of the Small Flextrash are 21.5 cm x 15 cm x 25 cm, of the Medium are 25 cm x 20 cm x 15 cm and of the Large are 35 cm x 20 cm x 15 cm.

Can I find instructions somewhere?

Do I always need trashbags?

Flextrash is made to use with trashbags. Our own trashbags are made of recycled plastic and they fit perfectly in your bin! Are you sustainable in heart and soul? Then try Flextrash without our trashbags! Our cover bag is not waterproof but you can easily throw it in the washing machine if it is dirty.

Order and payment
What is the delivery time of my order?

Ordering before 1:00 PM on a business day? Then we’ll ship your package the very same day. The delivery time for Flextrash is 1 business day for orders within the Netherlands and Belgium. Delivery times to other countries vary from 3 to 5 business days. Please note that DHL does not deliver on Sundays and Mondays.

What are the shipping costs?

Our shipping costs are €4.95 per order within the Netherlands. Different rates apply for international shipping. Below is a list of the most common destinations:

  • Netherlands: €4.95

  • Belgium: €7.50

  • Germany: €7.80

Shipping is free for orders over €75 within the Netherlands. For Germany and Belgium, free shipping applies to orders over €100.

What are the shipping costs to Belgium?

The shipping costs to Belgium are € 7,80 per order.

Can I still make changes to my order?

Have you already ordered but want to change the name or address of your order? Our customer service will gladly help you if the order has not yet left the warehouse. Call as soon as possible at: +31 (0) 202619513.

I have a discount code, where should I fill it in?

You can use our discount codes during the checkout in your shopping cart. At the bottom of the total amount there is a line with the text "Apply discount code". Enter your code, click on "Apply Discount" and the code is activated!

I get an error message when entering my discount code, what should I do?

Most of our codes have an expiration date and some also have a minimum order amount. You can no longer use the code after the expiry date or on an order with order amount that's too low. You can find the expiration date and the minimum order amount in the email with your discount code. Please contact us, should your code but you still receive an error message.

Do you have a code for free shipping? Then it may be that you see the change in price at the next step. So for safety, click further to delivery methods.

Can I get a discount if I order multiple items or could I request a quote?

Delivery
Which delivery service do you use?

We ship our packages with DHL. Place your order before 1:00 PM, and we’ll ship your package the very same day. The delivery time of our products is 1 working day for orders within the Netherlands and Belgium. The delivery time to other countries varies from 3 to 5 business days. Please note that DHL does not deliver on Sundays and Mondays.

What is the status of my order?

Has your order been processed and paid correctly? Then you will receive a confirmation email from us. Did your package leave our warehouse afterwards? Then we will send you an email with the track and trace code. Do you still have any questions about the status of your order, or didn't you receive your track and trace code? Please, do not hesitate to contact us.

I have not received my order within the promised delivery time. What now?

If your order has not arrived within the promised delivery time, please contact us. It can happen that the busyness at DHL ensures that your order is delayed by one day. We are happy to check where your package is!

I need my order urgently. Can the delivery time be accelerated?

We are more than happy to help you. If you need your order on Sunday, Monday or maybe the same day, we can always see what is possible. In that case, send us an email at [email protected] or call +31 (0) 202619513.

Do you use free shipping?

They say the best things in life are free... and we agree! We offer free shipping on orders over €75,- in the Netherlands and €100,- in Belgium and Germany. 

Return and exchange
Can I return my products?

Not entirely happy with your purchase? You can report your return to us within 14 days of receiving your product by sending an email to [email protected]. Please make sure to include your order number. After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the product.

Please send our products back in their original condition and packaging (where reasonably possible). So, feel free to take a look at our product like you would in a shop: for example, remove Flextrash from the package, but do not use it for waste.

Is your product more used than necessary? In that case, we will assess the condition of the product. You may then be eligible to receive a 75% refund of the original purchase price.

Please note: The return shipping costs are at your own expense.

How does a refund work?

We will refund the purchase amount, within 3 working days after receiving your product, to the same account number with which you paid. If in any way, the account number is unknown to us, we will contact you.

Can I exchange my product for free?

Did you order the wrong products?  You can always exchange your products, and we will calculate the difference in price. Do this within 14 days. Note: shipping costs are still charged here. For handling please contact us by mail or telephone.

Warranty and repair
What if the products I ordered arrives damaged or broken?

We are happy to help you any further. If you send a photo of the product that's defect, we will send you a new one as soon as possible!
You can send this photo to [email protected] and we will contact you as soon as possible.

My Flextrash broke. What now?

That's unfortunate and shouldn't be happening. We are more than happy to solve this. You can send a photo of the product that is defect to [email protected] and we will contact you as soon as possible. Of course you can also call! +31 (0) 202619513.
